Asian Granito, the fourth largest player in the domestic tiles market, is turning its focus on B2C sales. The company is expanding its distribution network aggressively to achieve this objective. Presently, the company has a strong and widespread direct dealership network of more than 1,200 and is expected to reach 2,000 by 2021. It added 700 dealers in FY18. It is targeting retail sales of 50% in coming years via addition of new dealers & sub-dealers and exclusive showrooms.
The company has invested Rs 40 crore in a joint venture company, Camrolla, to manufacture and sell Quartz. The JV will have 70% contribution of revenue from exports where it has already secured orders. Camrolla JV is likely to commence operation in Jul18.
AGL is the fourth largest tiles manufacturer in India, with 33MSM capacity. The company accounts for 8% of the organised tiles market. AGL produces ceramic wall & floor tiles and digital, polished/glazed vitrified tiles. It is also engaged in marble and quartz manufacturing with an annual installed capacity of 1.3MSM.
