On the occasion of 26th World Water Day, ‘We Are Water Foundation’, a non-profit organization supported by Roca, launched a campaign promoting awareness on the most precious resource of the planet-water. The foundation aims at promoting a new water culture that allows the sustainable management of water resources around the world and guarantees water access to every individual for a dignified and healthy life.

The campaign is focused on highlighting the hostile effects of water scarcity among the underprivileged section of society and promote the practice of conservation among urban Indians who have better access to the resource. The campaign invites social media users to discover the #HiddenLifeOfWater and multiple ways it shapes our future; and appeals them to support the cause and collectively pledge to save water

The digital campaign is aimed at creating awareness on the increasing water scarcity around the globe by educating users on the importance of water conservation and it’s availability for generations to come. The campaign started with initiating conversations around the adverse effect of depleting water availability and presented some alarming facts around the same. The campaign is focused on highlighting the hostile effects of water scarcity among the underprivileged section of society and promote the practice of conservation among urban Indians who have better access to the resource. The campaign invites social media users to discover the #HiddenLifeOfWater and multiple ways it shapes our future; and appeals them to support the cause and collectively pledge to save water.

Commenting on this initiative, K. Most of us have faced water crisis at least once in our lives and are aware of the challenges that come along. The campaign is targeted to promote and cultivate the water saving habits the urban Indians. ‘We are Water’ Foundation has been contributing in multiple ways to make water available to the deprived population either by constructing wells in villages, providing clean water in schools or by promoting sustainable farming techniques. This World Water Day lets pledge to use water judiciously and conserve it for future generations by celebrating this day every day in our lives.”
