There are reasons for Shankara Building Products to be bullish about its revenue growth prospects in the current financial year. For example, its revenue growth in March 2018 at 40% was higher than the average revenue growth of 27% in fourth quarter of last financial year. Even more heartening is the fact that this growth momentum in housing segment demand, including both individual and project segment has continued in April also. It should be remembered that April is usually considered to be slack month for building products.
During the last financial year, that is, 2017-18, the company added 21 new retail stores thus taking the total number of stores to 129. It plans to add further 15-20 stores this year along with addition through organic growth.
Shankara Building Products is one of India’s leading organized retailers of home improvement and building products in India, based on the number of stores operating under brand Shankara Buildpro.
