Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board has planned construction & development of Dharmshala, residential quarters & renovation of temple and other development work at Pramod Van Chitakoot, in Satna district on PPP basis. The project is in infancy stage and Inception report, DPR and Master Plan of the project are yet to be prepared. The project will spread over four hectares of land.
Chitrakoot is a famous pilgrimage centre and a nagar panchayat in the Satna district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is a place of religious, cultural, historical and archaeological importance, situated in the Bundelkhand region. It borders the Chitrakoot district in Uttar Pradesh, whose headquarters Chitrakoot Dham is located nearby. The city lies in the historical Chitrakoot region, which is divided between the present-day Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. It is known for a number of temples and sites mentioned in Hindu scriptures.
MPHIDB is presently looking out for consultant for the project to prepare inception report and preliminary project report to justify the project and ascertain its feasibility. Project report will be prepared providing adequate scope for future expansion, in case of possible improvement in building bylaws in due course, must be included in the design before finalization. All the structures will, however, follow Bureau of Energy Efficiency norms. It will also have rain water harvesting and waste water recycling provisions.
