Indian Institute of Technology – Madras is the only educational institution from India to figure in the list of top 200 architectural schools in the world. The rankings were given by higher education networking giant QS. Last year too IIT-M figured among 100-150 ranked educational institutions in architecture field.  No other architectural schools from India figure in QS list.

While Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) topped the list, UCL Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment in London has been ranked the second best place in the world to study architecture, according to the report. National University of Singapore with the rank of 10, is the only architectural school from Asia to figure among the top ten rankings.
