NEC Technologies India Private Limited (NECTI) has launched FIWARE based Integrated Command & Control Center for Smart Cities. This solution will act as the brain of cities, by interconnecting embedded sensors around city surveillance, intelligent transport management, solid waste management and parking management, to empower decision making through visualization and analytics for city authorities.

In April 2018, NECTI had announced the launch of FIWARE Lab node in India to encourage application developers, solution providers, government bodies and academia to experiment and innovate with FIWARE based solutions for smart cities.

In continuation with the enhanced engagement and commitment towards FIWARE, NECTI along with FIWARE Foundation will be participating in one of the prestigious IoT events in India-M2M & IOT Forum, to be held from January 14-15, 2019 in New Delhi. NECTI will showcase multiple IoT solutions based on FIWARE in areas of public surveillance and Disaster Recovery.
