Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum (President House Museum) New Delhi is all geared up to celebrate International Museum Day this 18th May 2018, for the very first time.
Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum has planned programmes to get inclusive for the residents of the sprawling President Estate and open the museum doors to the otherwise non visitors. RBM has collaborated along with the four social welfare schemes running within the campus of Presidents Estate named as Sparsh (for specially abled children) Sanskriti (for Children till 14 years), Sanskaar (for Pre school children) and Samagam (for Senior citizens). The museum has designed day long programmes for them such as Curated walks for Preschool children, Hands on activities for specially abled children, Talks on social issues for for Children till 14 years and Improvisational Theatre for senior citizens. It is an effort to match the theme of ICOM museum day and be hyperconnected with the new public with a new approach.
