The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), the principal planning authority for Bengaluru, is planning to develop an integrated township on 167 acres of land at Konadaspura village in Bidarahalli hobli, about 30 km away from Bengaluru. The proposed township located near to Bengaluru – Tirupati Highway will be developed in such a way as to bring work, living and leisure under one roof. A massive tech park, shopping malls, multiplex and hi-end residences of different dimensions are planned in this township which has already been approved by BDA.
The residential complexes will house 2,500 high-end houses which will be developed by BDA. There will 25 blocks and each block will have 16 floors. On each floor there will be 1BHK, 2BHK and 3BHK houses. One BHK flats will be studio apartments with a carpet space of 450 square feet.
The BDA is mainly looking at IT firms setting up shop in this complex. While tender for residential complexes that will extend to 22 acres have already been floated tenders for commercial establishments will be issued soon.
