On 19th January, Sir JJ College of Architecture will be felicitating twenty architects recognizing their groundbreaking work and contribution in the field of architecture. These exceptional and renowned alumni members of the prestigious Sir JJ College of Architecture who have done exceptional work for the society will be felicitated at the event with an audience of over 300 people, including reputed architects, artists and enthusiasts.

Apart from the felicitations, the awards would also have an interesting line up of events including the launch of a coffee table book cover and a panel discussion on recreating the aura of the institute.

Sir J. J. College of Architecture is an architecture school located in Mumbai, affiliated to University of Mumbai. Established in 1913, it was Asia’s first architecture school. Sir J.J college of architecture is considered one of the foremost institutions of Architecture in India and is a recognized college of architecture all over the world. The Sir J. J. College of Architecture has contributed many known designers in the Western part of India. College’s alumni list includes, Achyut Kanvinde, Arundhati Roy and Balakrishna Doshi.
