Gold, Bronze and Anthracite reflect the current trend for elegant and expressive surfaces and create an additional attractive ‘wow’ effect for the sink area

Colour in the kitchen has been an important focus for Villeroy & Boch for many years. Because it’s not just furniture and the design of the floor and walls that determine the atmosphere in a kitchen, the sink area makes an important contribution too. As well as a selection of up to 16 different colours for its ceramic sinks, Villeroy & Boch also offers a diverse choice of kitchen tap fittings. Besides classic stainless steel or chrome finishes, Villeroy & Boch has now developed three new premium effects to open up even more individual design scope for sinks in modern kitchens.

Gold, Bronze and Anthracite reflect the current trend for elegant and expressive surfaces and create an additional attractive ‘wow’ effect for the sink area. The new finishes are available for selected tap fittings: Avia 2.0, with elegant tap fittings featuring a contemporary twist on the nostalgic design, Umbrella and Umbrella Flex, which transform the sink area into a real feature with their high curving spouts, and Finera, featuring a pared-down, rounded shape that is a perfect choice in a modern kitchen design. To complete the look at the sink area, there is also a round pop-up waste cover in the three new finishes.

Classic design with a contemporary twist – Architectura: new large ceramic sink for 80-cm base units

If you are looking for a modern ceramic kitchen sink allowing scope for personalised design options, the Architectura series from Villeroy & Boch is the perfect choice. Featuring a contemporary twist on classic design, Architectura sinks coordinate harmoni-ously with different interior design styles and are a pleasure to use. A new, generously proportioned, model is now joining the Architectura 50, Architectura 60 and Architec-tura 60 XR (with a half bowl): the Architectura 80, with two large closable basins pro-vides lots of extra space for work around the kitchen sink.

Thanks to the harmonious basin shape and a large drainage area with practical grooves, all Architectura models provide a high level of functionality. The main basin, available with either a manually operated or pop-up waste outlet, has enough space to handle even large pans, pots and vases. The series is suitable for surface-mounted installation, with the basin installed on either the left or right side. This opens up flexible solutions for the sink area in almost any space scenario, including for left-handed users.

Architectura kitchen sinks are made from high-quality ceramic, making them very re-sistant to both heat and cold. You can place hot pans or frozen food on a ceramic sink with complete peace of mind and everyday household acids will leave no marks. The CeramicPlus finish also ensures hygiene and easy cleaning. If you would like to coordinate your Architectura sink with your kitchen colour scheme, you can choose from 13 contemporary ceramic shades, including the new matt Stone White in the innovative TitanGlaze. High-quality, precisely fitting accessories allowing you to prepare food directly at the sink add the finishing touch to the Architectura range. The selection includes a 1/3 steam bowl positioned lengthways in the half bowl and diagonally in the main basin, a universal chopping board made from solid oiled beech, a roll-up rack, a wire basket and an integrated strainer bowl.

An even more minimalist take on timelessly modern individuality – The latest addition to Villeroy & Boch’s range of butler sinks

Villeroy & Boch’s butler sink is a real classic in the kitchen – and yet so timeless that it is always on trend. As well as coordinating ideally in contemporary country kitchens, this striking and atmospheric ceramic sink with a simple and clearly defined design is also a stylish feature in modern kitchen interiors. To allow the creation of very trendy, minimalist looks for the sink area, Villeroy & Boch has now developed a new butler sink without a tap panel, consisting solely of the basin. It is integrated on its own, with the basin projecting confidently over the front of the unit and the tap placed separately behind the sink on the work surface, creating a minimalist and spacious effect for the kitchen sink.

The new model is available as a single basin in a width of 60-cm or a double basin in 80 or 90-cm widths and can be installed in different work surfaces. The new butler sink looks particularly striking combined with a stone work surface. It is available in the colours White Alpine, Stone White, Crema and Ebony.

Whether a single or double version, with or without a tap panel – the butler sink, with its linear front and a large basin allowing easy rinsing of baking trays or filling of large pots, is ideal for individual kitchen designs. Depending on your preferred effect, the butler sink can coordinate harmoniously with the overall look or be an eye-catching highlight and a real feature in your kitchen.

A delicate new shape in TitanCeram – Siluet 60 R: user-friendly sink with a half bowl

Last autumn, under the banner of “The beauty of fine shapes”, Villeroy & Boch unveiled the first range of kitchen sinks made from the innovative TitanCeram ceramic material. The Siluet family is now welcoming a new addition: the Siluet 60 R, with a second smaller basin for greater functionality at the sink area.

The new Siluet 60 R model for 60 cm base units makes working at the sink even more convenient and flexible. It can be used as a practical strainer bowl, to easily wash fruit, salad or vegetables, or to rinse dirty crockery. One particular advantage: standard stainless steel steamer bowls fit perfectly in the small basin, allowing you to prepare food directly at the sink and steam after cooking.

The Siluet 60 R has even more to offer than impressive functionality: its clear and yet sensuous lines, developed by the renowned designer Patrick Frey, make the ceramic sink a stylish highlight in modern, urban kitchens. Its striking design features include a narrow mounting rim, small-radius corners and a linear inner basin.

The sink owes this filigree design to the innovative TitanCeram material. This special blend of natural raw materials allows the production of ceramic products with sharply defined edges and thin walls while guaranteeing high stability. TitanCeram also offers all the material advantages of high-quality ceramic: all Siluet models are food-safe and lightfast, resistant to knocks, impacts and scratches as well as heat and cold. The CeramicPlus surface finish ensures hygiene and easy cleaning.

As well as the 60 R sink, the Siluet is also available for base unit widths of 60-cm, 50-cm and 45-cm. All models come in a choice of 13 ceramic colours. The tap fitting can be supplied with either a manually operated or pop-up waste outlet. A diverse selection of accessories is also available to streamline workflows: a chopping board, made from walnut wood, that fits precisely in the drainage area for food preparation, as well as multifunctional steamer bowls and stainless steel wire baskets.

The basins can be integrated on either side, allowing flexible positioning of the Siluet sink. All models are suitable for either flush-fitting or surface-mounted installation. The flush-fitting option allows very easy cleaning and also makes work surfaces appear larger, very elegantly emphasising a minimalist modern interior design. In the classic integrated version, Siluet is mounted on top of the work surface, clearly differentiating the sink area from the rest of the space. With its narrow mounting rim, Siluet also coordinates harmoniously with the overall kitchen design in this installation version.

Siluet was awarded the “KitchenInnovation of the Year 2018” consumer prize at the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt. Siluet convinced experts and consumers in the criteria of innovation, product benefits, design and material composition.

Matt glaze TitanGlaze from Villeroy & Boch – New on-trend Stone White shade for all ceramic sinks

Villeroy & Boch’s material development process is underpinned by 270 years of experience in ceramic production. The result is innovative formulations for pioneering materials such as TitanGlaze, a matt glaze that sets standards in terms of functionality and aesthetics.

TitanGlaze contains high-purity crystalline aluminium oxide that increases the surface’s resistance. This makes ceramic coated with TitanGlaze extremely resistant to scratches and impacts. Even in diamond-scratch and ball-drop tests, TitanGlaze achieves above-average results. The aluminium oxide used also has a fine matt effect which creates a velvety feel and softly shimmering contours. TitanGlaze in the new trendy colour Stone White therefore reflects the key trend for matt surfaces that has been a feature in kitchen design for some time. Villeroy & Boch offers the new matt shade Stone White for all ceramic sinks from the current portfolio. The Siluet, Subway, Timeline, Architectura, Cisterna, Condor, Flavia, NewWave and Monumentum series, as well as all corner sinks and butler sinks will therefore now be available in this colour.

Vintage tap fittings in a new look – Avia 2.0: nostalgia with a contemporary twist

Villeroy & Boch’s Avia creates a very eye-catching effect at the sink area. The elegant tap with a solid body and stylishly shaped spout is a surprising and inspiring blend of nostalgic charm and contemporary style. Its trendy retro look will make this impressive tap fitting a striking design highlight in a modern country kitchen or a classic kitchen setting.

For 2019, Villeroy & Boch is unveiling a contemporary new twist on the Avia design incorporating some attractive details. Avia 2.0 features a novel handle design with a ball joint to emphasise the authentic vintage look. The connection of the spout to the body has also been revised to create an even more original effect. Avia 2.0’s great charm has been further enhanced by some new finishes now available for this model: as well as solid stainless steel, the selection now also includes the three premium finishes of Gold, Bronze and Anthracite. These create a particularly elegant look for Avia 2.0 as well as opening up personalised options for coordinating the tap fitting to the kitchen design.

Avia 2.0 is also available in a standard and low-pressure version, allowing it to be used with an under-sink appliance or flow heater.
