Prathyaksha is a passionate Urban conservation Architect and avid traveller and reader with her interests in Heritage and its conservation. Her notable research work includes the incorporation of Heritage Driven Urban Regeneration for Indian Cities and Rural Heritage tourism management for Champaner- Pavagadh Archaeological Park. She firmly believes that preservation of the past is essential for posterity and has been constantly working towards that. She has been a part of REACH foundations as a Project Architect and has also been a volunteer at INTACH Chennai Chapter. She holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture and holds two Masters degrees in Urban Conservation and in History and Heritage Management. She also enjoyed a stint in teaching Architecture in Chennai. She has been the Head of Content and Research for a non- profit initiative-Art Deco Mumbai at Mumbai, predominantly working towards creating a digital research database on Art Deco Heritage of Mumbai and is now a Freelance Urban Conservation Architect.
