The brief received from the client was to do something that is not ordinary yet classy; it should look luxurious but has to be within the budget. Hence, reNNovate interiors planned to break free from the hotel style interiors.
The home interiors of the spacious 3BHK (3 BHK Rustomjee Azziano, Urbania – Thane, Majiwada) apartment were designed with the use of bright colours to give it a quirky look. An exposed brick textured wall brings a rustic background for the orange high back chairs and antique Chettinad side table. Colours help to create depth and space perception at the end of viewing vistas. The design addresses the dichotomy between maximized storage and a sense of space. Storages are integrated as floor to wall panelling in lighter coloured furniture.
In the master bedroom, white pearl finish on the wardrobe has been used to tone down the burst of colour from the copper textured wall and Kanchipuram sarees blinds. Kids room uses textile and denim finish wardrobe to break away from the stereotypical finishes. A customized wallpaper for the tennis aficionado brings together the boys’ room concept. The parents’ room integrates a shear wall jutting into the space transformed into niches and a tv unit, with antique decor. The kitchen is completely done with handmade dado tiles and white quartz top.
The entire 3 BHK was completed in 45 days. Vaastu colours were an important part of this project.
