Towards Increasingly Flexible Workspaces: The Workspace Industry is Evolving to the Next Level

Studiokon Ventures Pvt. Ltd. designed an office space for India’s leading engineering & consultancy provider Tractebel at Gurugram. The project is spread across an area of 18,000 sq.ft. After a long discussion with the client, the design team came up with a minimalistic design plan that perfectly fitted- in with the client’s ideas. The idea was to design a typical engineering straight-line office that was practical in design and at once also aesthetically appealing.  This was achieved with the help of unique designs and carefully selected colour themes. Large workstations and a perfect combination of cubicles and cabins suiting an open office culture was the mainstay as far as design went.  Hues of greys and blues, similar to the color of the client’s company logo was the predominant colour theme and this may be said to have added an extra dimension to the entire work place. Additionally, care was taken to keep the reception area simple yet welcoming. There was a colour splash in the cafeteria that while breaking any monotony was also serving greater purposes by lighting moods and lightening the atmosphere. Overall this tasteful combination of breakout areas and workspace, the architects feel, will do wonders for business by yielding positive results.
